There was a lot to cover this week including the group of LGBT migrants who have made their way from Central America to Tijuana. San Diego's LGBT community has offered a lot of support and continue to do so as more arrive. Also, there are plenty of social activities to do as we gear up for Thanksgiving and holiday shopping.

Jim Obergefell fears reversal of gay marriage ruling

"We're all under attack by this administration."

Jim Obergefell took his fight for marriage equality all the way to the Supreme Court in 2015 and won. 

But today despite that landmark ruling he is worried that it could be reversed.

Some of the biggest names in the business both in front of and behind the camera took a little time to help out GayVN nominee Bruce Beckham by adding their faces and voices to his video encouraging participation in the midterm elections. 

Lyft offers half-off rides to the polls today

Lyft offers 50% off rides to the polls today.

The ridesharing service Lyft is getting people to the polls today for a discounted price.

They say they want to make it easier for people to cast their ballots who don't have transportation to the polls. "Lyft wanted to remove that barrier and make it easier for people across the country to exercise their right to vote," they said in a press release 

Palm Springs Pride is under way, here's your field guide for the weekend

Palm Springs Pride is Nov. 1 to Nov. 4.

Many San Diegans are headed north to celebrate Pride in the desert. 

The 2018 edition of the Palm Springs Pride Festival will feature a new Central Downtown Location in the heart of Palm Springs in addition to entertainment on Arenas Rd. and official event experiences throughout the city.
