When We Were Outlaws author to give "Queer Identity" talk downtown Sunday

The pioneering LGBT activist, writer and author will be offering a free lecture about the changes in gender identity over the years and read from her book, When We Were Outlaws, prior to a lesbian-identified play at San Diego REPertory Theatre on Sunday.

When the movement toward marriage equality started, people of faith were portrayed by the media as being entirely and unilaterally opposed.
