The internet splits once again on whether Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged.

This time the rumor started when a popular unverified account The Pop Hive wrote “Tom Holland and Zendaya are reportedly engaged with an adorable photo of them smiling at each other on Tuesday.

The account did not share any source of the claims, but people started believing in that by liking and retweeting a tweet. The tweet by this account with 165k followers got over 490k likes and 42.3k retweets with fans retweeting the post. 

Zendaya’s Mother Seemingly Reacts To Tom Hollands Engagement Rumors

The reports published by Us Weekly last week about the Spider-Man: Homecoming couple’s relationship intensified the rumors. The reports were that an insider said that the cute and adorable couple seems serious and permanent. The source continued that they are both in settling down mode and are planning for a real future together. 

The Marvel couple first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. While there were rumors that they were dating the couple never officially confirmed anything. It was only confirmed after July 2021 when the paparazzi released photos of the duo kissing. 

The couple is known for keeping their private life to themselves, so it is understandable that they will not comment on this gossip. They had only addressed rumors when the rumor of Zendaya’s pregnancy went viral in the summer of the year. 

At the start of this year, the Euphoria actress denied the pregnancy rumor circulating on Twitter by writing- See, now this why I stay off Twitter. Only making stuff up for no reason every week. 

In GQ in November of 2021, Zendaya commented how she found the public’s fascination with her relationship with Holland “quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive.”

She said they both share an equal sentiment about privacy- when you love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.

She posted the story as fans were buzzing about the rumored engagement which has shut down the rumors once again. 

The rumors about their engagement spread last year in November when Zendaya posted her pic with her new hair look on her Instagram story. However, fans noticed something else- the yellow diamond ring on her left finger. However, the rumors were untrue as the ring was a treat from Zendaya to herself.
