Dale Krantz Rossington is the lead vocalist for Rossington Collins Band who got married to Gary Rossington in mid-1982. She even worked as the background vocalist for the band, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Prior to her marriage with Gary Rossington, she was married to Raymond Alan Watkins.

Dale Krantz is currently the background backup singer for the band but was once a full-throttle lead vocalist. According to her, it was her father who brought her and the rest of the family into music. She, along with her siblings was part of the church choir and loved music since childhood.

During this period, she got to perform with many leading artists including 38 Special, Leon Russell, etc. And at the same time, the Lynyrd Skynyrd in the spring of ‘76 was searching for some background vocalists. She started working with them and after the 1977 plane crash, things went upside down. Months later, the band was restructured and she started singing with Gary and Allen. 

Dale Krantz was known as “The First Lady of Southern Rock,” and has been a part of many live shows including 2003 The Vicious Cycle Tour, Decades Rock Live of 2005, etc. She got married to Gary on July 13, 1982, and the couple shares two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Rossington, and Annie, from their 41 years of marriage.
