Did Andres Garcia Passed Away? What Happened To The ‘El Cinco’ Star?
Andrés Garcia, a Dominican-Mexican actor who was best known for his numerous performances in Mexican telenovelas, has yesterday at the age of 81. He was best known for his many performances in Mexican telenovelas.
On Tuesday, the Mexican National Association of Actors expressed their condolences to his family and friends over his demise.
Garcia was born in the Dominican Republic, however, she has spent the majority of her career appearing in films and sitcoms from Mexico.
His performance as the title character in the film “Pedro Navaja” from 1984 is often regarded as his most notable.
His surviving loved ones include his wife, Margarita Portillo, and their three children, Andrea, Leonardo, and Andrés Jr.
Andres Garcia Cause Of Death
Garcia was raised in the city of Santo Domingo, which is located in the Dominican Republic, where he was born.
It was during the reign of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo that his parents, both of whom had fled Spain during the Spanish Civil War, were granted shelter in the country.
He was born there. His father, Andrés Garcia La Calle, was a fighter pilot for the Spanish Republican forces.
Although Garcia had been sick for some time, Portillo had been catering to his needs at their property in Acapulco.
According to Portillo, her husband received a blood transfusion on Sunday after his “body became too weak” to withstand the ordeal without one.

According to Garca’s widow, the last rites were performed on Monday. Garcia passed away on that day.
She went on to say, “I was by his side, caring for him, and loving him till the very moment he breathed his last.” “I give thanks to God that he was able to pass away in peace. Andrés left planet Earth at 3:07 o’clock in the afternoon.”
Hepatic cirrhosis, a severe form of liver scarring, was determined to be the root cause of death in this case.
Death Of The Golden Era Star
Garcia was born in the Dominican Republic but later naturalized as a Mexican citizen. At the time of his passing, he was one of the few surviving stars from the Golden Era of Mexican cinema.
He had a long and illustrious career. He rose to fame after starring in the film adaptation of the comic book series Chanoc, which caused him to become more well-known.
After that, Garcia would go on to earn a number of acting credits in films such as “La noche del halcón,” “Las tres magnificas,” “Minifaldas con squeals,” and “El Cinco,” among others.

At the turn of the century, he had starring roles in the films El Cuerpo del Deseo (2000) for Telemundo and Women engaadas (2000) for Univision (2005).
In 2007, he went back to Televisa to star in the series El Pantera, and in 2010, he made an appearance in an episode of Hay alguien allá. Both of these roles were guest-starring roles.
