Who Is Julia Faustyna? 

Julia Faustyna is a 21-year-old Polish woman who is also known by the names, Julia Wendell and Julia Wandelt. According to her, she believes that she could be the missing British Girl, Madeleine McCann who mysteriously disappeared on May 3, 2007, at the age of three. She went missing from 5A Rua Dr. Agostinho da Silva, Praia da Luz, Algarve, Portugal while she along with her family was enjoying their holidays. 

The young girl announced these claims through her Instagram video a few months back after she got to hear some comments made by her now grandmother regarding her identity. In the video, she states that she believes she was kidnapped from Portugal during her childhood. She even records the physical similarities that she has with the missing girl from 2007. 

Childhood And Early Days

Julia states that her parents never talked about her childhood and whenever she puts forward this talk, they’ll just dismiss her question and never bring up her past. Also while asked about pictures from her childhood, they never answered any of her needs which fueled the speculations she had regarding her identity. 

The doubts regarding her identity even fueled up when she confirmed her enrollment date to kindergarten with her teacher as September 2007 which her parents denied.

She even stated that although she said that she is 21 this year, she isn’t certain if it is her exact age. Moreover, her parents don’t have her birth certificate that proves her age. While putting all these together, she believes that her parents are hiding something from her regarding her identity. 

While speaking of her memories from childhood, she states that she remembers going on a vacation to a warm place with a beach. She even remembers some white buildings and apartments.

Is The DNA Test Really Necessary?

As per the word of Julia Faustyna, she has some speculations regarding her identity. She states that even if she is not Madeleine, she should know who she is and the police must find it out. And for this, she needs a DNA test with which she can get an idea whether the ones she mentions as parents are really her own parents or not.    

According to her, Julia believes that she is Madeleine since she has most of the physical similarities that matched with the missing girl. Also, she even revealed that she is a victim of a German pedophile. The man even resembled the convicted sex offender Christian Brückner, who was accused as the culprit of the kidnapping of Madeleine. 

Moreover, Julia’s current parents are against her idea of a DNA test that will confirm her identity. She states that her mother said that the past is in the past and she is not going to talk about the past and even asked her to focus on the future. While her dad said that nothing is going to change even if he is not her real father. These statements from her parents also fueled her speculation about her identity.
