James Daniel Jordan, a member of the Republican Party and U.S. representative for Ohio’s 4th congressional district, is a founding member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. Throughout his time in office, he was involved in numerous high-profile controversies including the Ohio State University abuse scandal. 

Recently, he has become the talk of the town after the Jim and Donald Trump case. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against Rep.

Jordan and the House Judiciary Committee. The case was filed accusing them of interfering in his office’s prosecution and investigation of former President Donald Trump

Alvin Bragg Sues Jim Jordan

As per the 50-page lawsuit filed by Bragg, he requested the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of New York to stop Jordan and the committee from implementing any actions in the case involving Trump.

With the case becoming more popular day by day, the public is very much interested in knowing about the latest updates. Being a person who was involved in numerous controversies, people wish to know whether Jordan will be arrested or not.

Is Jim Jordan In Jail?

As of the recent update, the Republican Congressman from Ohio was not arrested or jailed to date. But as there are still cases being revealed within further investigations, we can hope that Jordan will be arrested in the near future.

This is clear from the recent lawsuit filed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg against Jordan recently a few days back. 

As discussed above Jordan was accused of trying to interfere with Bragg’s office’s investigation of former President Trump. But as of this case, it is not sure whether or not Jordan will be arrested since he isn’t involved with any illegal work.

In the lawsuit, Bragg stated that Congress has no right to supervise state criminal prosecutions. Apart from this, he even made it clear that Congress doesn’t have any power or ability to serve summonses for personal aggrandizement or to penalize those scrutinized. 

The Lawsuit was filed in federal court in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday. U.S. District Court Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil refused to block Jordan’s summons but has allocated a week to answer in court. The court has arranged a hearing on Wednesday, April 19, on Bragg’s motion. 

Alvin Bragg Sues Jim Jordan

As of the reports, it was found that Jordan started examining Bragg’s probe days after the former president predicted his arrest regarding the ongoing investigation.

The public believes that Jordan will be arrested in the near future in connection to the probe, but until this day, there are no signs of Jordan getting arrested.

With the investigation getting proceeding faster, all the truth regarding Jordan will be out in the coming days. 

Alvin Bragg Sues Jim Jordan

Jordan was born on February 17, 1964, in Champaign County, Ohio, as the son of Shirley and John Jordan. He attended Graham High School and graduated in 1982.

He was into wrestling from a very young age and has won state championships. He then attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in economics.

Jordan graduated from Ohio State University with a master’s degree in education. Also, he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Capital University Law School. 

The U.S. representative for Ohio’s 4th congressional district currently resides near Urbana, Ohio, in central Champaign County with his wife. He is a father of four children and recently has become a grandfather of two grandchildren.
