American singing contest tv series American Idol is currently premiering its 21st season. The series started telecasting on February 19, 2023, on the ABC television network. 

On Monday, the series premiered the 12th episode of the season which telecasted the performance of the top 26 contestants. They were split into two groups and were mentored by guest mentors Allen Stone and Noah Cyrus in order to mesmerize the judges and the viewers with their voices as they returned to the stage. 

Who Is Noah Cyrus?

Noah Cyrus is an American actress and singer from Nashville, Tennessee. The Grammy-nominated artist was born on January 8, 2000, as the fifth child of American Country Singer and actor Billy Ray Cyrus and Producer Tish Cyrus.    

She started her career in Hollywood as a child actress and even voiced the titular character in the 2008 English version of the Japanese animated fantasy film Ponyo. The actress made appearances in various shows, including Hannah Montana and Doc.

The twenty-three-year-old singer made her debut with the single ‘Make Me (Cry)’ in 2016. She released her first full-length album, The Hardest Part, in September 2022, and with its release, she got nominated as the Best New Artist at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
