Dating diaries: From Kayne to Brady, unraveling Kim Kardashian’s men of the hour
You don’t have to be clued up to know who the Kardashian’s are; and in particular — Kim Kardashian. Having been in the public eye for over twenty years, Kim’s known for a host of things; and good or bad, they’ve boosted her family into their very own phenomena.
Shooting to fame as a cultural sensation in the early 2000’s and beginning her media stint as Paris Hilton’s close friend and stylist, Kim Kardashian has managed to rack up a host of dating faux pas amongst her busy schedules. Infamously cropping up in the press for one thing or another, whether it’s leaving the casino slots tables along with billionaire Jho Low and $250K grasped in one hand, she’s renowned for going hard or going home.
Who is Kim Kardashian currently dating?
July 4th was a real celebration for Kim, having attended Michael Rubin’s Hampton’s party, where she sparked new dating rumors with Tom Brady. The pair were seen getting increasingly closer, with by passers commenting on them looking very flirty together. Spotted on the beach during the day, and later dancing at night, it seems the full 4th of July weekend was a Brady-Kardashian fling.
With her first marriage only lasting 72 days, and many other rendezvous that shortly followed suit, this could all be a one-weekend wonder, and a chance for her to let her hair down. Either way, Kanye West seems well in the past, and the future is looking very Brady.
Who was her most recent ex?
Pete Davidson was Kim’s most recent ex, and their confirmation for the news caused a stir everywhere. A skinny, tall, tattooed comedian was a new reach in Kim’s arsenal, and their relationship lasted a total of nine months. Having hosted Saturday Night Live together in October 2019, Pete kissed Kim in an Aladdin and Jasmine comedy sketch. Fast forward to October 2021, and the news of their romance first peppered into the papers, where their appearances would go on to flourish. Co-attending all her events, and her Kardashian-Clan parties together, their relationship was confirmed from then on, where they happily endured just under a year of happiness.
Making a surprise appearance on Keeping Up with The Kardashian’s in June 2022, Pete was adorned by fans as one that would be set to stay for the long run. They went on to attend the Met Gala as a duo, and so much more, however their long-distance dating, demanding plans and schedule resulted in them not able to maintain a relationship.
What about Kim-Ye?
Ah, Kanye West. A man of many industries, and many problems. Also referring to himself as ‘Ye’, a shortened version of his insanely popular “Yeezy” sneaker line, Kanye was named as one of the most influential men in the world — at one time, anyway. As of today, he has a roster of controversies under his belt, which would question this title altogether.
Kanye married Kim in 2014 in a star-studded ceremony set for only the very best. After six years of marriage the pair were engulfed in a messy divorce, and they share four children together: Psalm, Chicago, Saint and North. Noting the divorce down to “irreconcilable differences”, the actual reason was due to Kim finally wanting to put herself first, amongst Kanye’s growing issues and temper.
The rest of the collection
Pre Kanye was just as busy for Kim, where she had two marriages prior, and a list of boyfriends, too. Her first husband was Damon Thomas, who was a music producer with a 10-year age gap from 19-year-old Kim. Questionable that may be, the pair were wed for three years in 2000 until 2003, where she then divorced him due to his controlling behavior.
Ray J — the one known for making a sex tape that would catapult Kim into stardom and make her who she is today. Kim dated the rapper on and off for five years, however he then went on to sell this so called “intimate video”, which of course was a permanent end in that story.
After that turbulent part of history for Kim, she dated Nick Lachey, following his messy divorce from Jessica Simpson, and then international womanizer, Nick Cannon.
Though there were a few more dotted into that timeline, Kim’s second marriage is what everyone really remembers. Kris Humphries was the basketball player that was married to Kim for just 72 days, in a televised ceremony titled Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event. 72 days is currently her shortest, however it is most memorable due to the tv footprint that it left behind.
There will always be some kind of speculation for Kim due to her stardom and fame, and whether Brady is for the long run or a fabricated piece of news, one thing is for sure — she’s building herself a path where she is finally looking out for herself, and going after what she wants.
